A Survey CAD Technician will draft surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on information gathered in the field from the land survey crew.
Essential Functions
- Preview survey field notes and field data and prepare survey using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Read and interpret property descriptions and/or maps, surveys, and other field documents
- Communicate with the land survey crew in the field and clients to ensure deliverables are met
- Follow company standards for drawing creation and presentation

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Boundary, and topographical survey layout
- Candidate capable of obtaining Michigan Professional Survey license is a benefit and may offer the opportunity for advancement
Position Type, Expected Hours
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Physical Demands
This position is largely sedentary. An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, and hear.
